We are constantly told by the media and from scientific research that antioxidants are good for our health. Taking them has been shown to prevent many dreadful and debilitating illnesses. They clear free radicals, the cause of these illnesses, so we are drawn towards antioxidants.

What we are rarely told is that taking too many antioxidants is bad for our health.   Low levels of Free radicals are essential for the immune system and other systems.  

We absolutely don’t want to sound condescending here but why on earth would you think about spending your money on different antioxidants claimed to be the best at this and that when you have no idea if you need them. Even worse, if you don’t need them they may actually be harming you health. So test for antioxidants and if you need them fine, they are probably the best thing you can do for your health. If you don’t need them you have saved your money and more importantly not risked damaging your health.
